The Bachelor of Science in Business Management is a program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s complex, interconnected business environment. It emphasizes a holistic approach to management, integrating core technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a deep understanding of how various functions in business, like marketing, finance, operations, and human resources, are interrelated.
This 10-term program prepares graduates not only to become competent managers but also to take on consulting roles, helping organizations address challenges and foster growth. Students are taught to see business as a system of interconnected parts, promoting skills such as global thinking, ethical decision-making, and problem-solving.
Portfolio: Students develop a portfolio that showcases their progress in research, projects, and creative work. It reflects their growth in the program and is assessed annually by faculty.
Internship: This hands-on component places students in real-world organizational settings—be it a family business, entrepreneurial venture, or NGO—allowing them to apply their learning and tackle practical business challenges.
Thesis: Culminating the program, the thesis provides a documented analysis of a specific business problem addressed during the internship. It demonstrates the student’s ability to integrate theory with practice in problem-solving.
Technical Skills: Financial analysis, market research, and operational audits.
Conceptual Skills: Systems thinking, scientific/logical thinking, and critical analysis.
Interpersonal Skills: Leadership, teamwork, and public relations.
Ethics and Social Responsibility: Ethical commitment, sense of community, and sustainability.
