Come One, Come All:

The Spring Concert of the Emerson, Da Vinci & Harper Jr. High Combined Orchestra Program is right around the corner! Coming up on Monday, June 3rd, at 7 PM, the Intermediate and Advanced Orchestras will be performing some wonderful music from Mozart, Khachaturian, Ravel, Beethoven's Egmont Overture, and much more, at Richard Brunelle Performance Hall on the Davis Senior High School Campus. During the concert, we will be acknowledging our 9th grade students, who will be moving on to DHS and DVHS, after three amazing years.

Also, several current and former student soloists will be joining us on the stage! We excitedly welcome to the stage, Harper Concertmaster, Adrian Pu, who will perform several Hungarian Dances by Brahms, set for piano four hands (2 pianos), and will be joined by former Emerson-Da Vinci Concertmaster, Sean Seo. We also welcome Joshua Zhao, Harper Principal Cellist, who will perform some works for the solo piano at his debut on the stage!

Finally, we are excited to welcome back, for the last time, Loor Jabareen, who will be performing the 3rd Movement of Max Bruch's Violin Concerto in G Minor, Op. 26, accompanied by nationally recognized pianist and San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra Concertmaster, Roger Xia, on the piano. Loor will be heading back home to Israel after the school year ends.

All three students, Adrian, Joshua, and Loor, earned the "Gold Command Performance" Rating, the top rating and highest honor in the state, at the 2019 CMEA California State Solo and Ensemble Festival.

Joining us as Master Of Ceremonies, will be newly elected Board Trustee, Cindy Pickett. We excitedly welcome her to our stage.
