Connect: Strengthening relationships with others (family and friends) and feeling close to and valued by others is critical to boosting well-being.
Be Active: Being physically active improves your physical health. This can improve your mood and decrease stress and reduce anxiety levels. We should be aiming for 60 minutes of physical activity a day.
Take Notice: Pay more attention to the present moment and to your thoughts and feelings instead of getting caught up in thoughts about the past for example. This links to our mindfulness page so have a read if you are interested.
Give: Carry out acts of kindness. These can be small or large. Do something nice for someone and see how you feel after.
Keep Learning: Try something new or rediscover an old interest. Be curious and look for new experiences in life. This stimulates your brain.
