INVITATION ONLY, no audition

Our Mini Stars Performance Group is a special opportunity for dancers ages 4–8 who are ready to shine a little brighter! This hand-selected group is chosen by Divine Dance Center staff for dancers who show strong potential, great attitude, and a love for performing.

Dancers in this group will train and perform one exciting jazz routine throughout the season, giving them the chance to build confidence, stage presence, teamwork, and performance skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

The Mini Stars Performance Group will:

✨ Perform at local community events

✨ Attend 2 local competitions per year

✨ Focus on performance experience without the commitment of travel or nationals

✨ Build a strong foundation for future company opportunities

This is the perfect stepping stone for young dancers who are ready for more performance opportunities while maintaining a balanced schedule for both dancers and families.

✨This group will have a required 1.5 Hour ballet/jazz technique class and a 45 minute company class.

Divine Dance Center is proud to introduce our Competitive Ballet Company—a new opportunity designed to bring focused ballet training and performance excellence to our competitive teams.

Led by Katherine Nettles, this program is created for dancers who are passionate about ballet technique, artistry, discipline, and stage performance. Our Competitive Ballet Company will provide a unique experience that strengthens dancers not only in ballet, but across all styles of dance.

Dancers will be placed into one of two groups:

✨ 12 & Under Division

✨ 13 & Over Division

This specialized company will focus on:

• Strong classical ballet technique

• Performance quality and artistry

• Strength, flexibility, and discipline

• Competitive ballet training and stage experience

• Elevating overall performance for all competitive dancers

The Competitive Ballet Company brings an exciting new level of training and performance opportunities to Divine Dance Center, helping dancers grow as strong, versatile, and technically refined artists both on and off the competition stage.

✨This will be an added 45 minute class.  All dancers participating in Competitive Musical Theatre must be enrolled in 2 Ballet Technique Classes (one can be pointe/pre-pointe).

Divine Dance Center is excited to officially introduce our Musical Theatre Competitive Company as a core part of our competitive program!

After several successful seasons of standout select groups, Musical Theatre has grown into its own dedicated competitive company division—giving dancers who love performance, storytelling, and stage presence an exciting place to shine.

Led by Claudia Anderson, this company is designed for performers who thrive in character work, expression, and entertaining an audience while building strong technical foundations.

Dancers in this company will have a set weekly schedule for both class training and choreography, creating consistency, structure, and focused preparation throughout the season.

The Musical Theatre Competitive Company will focus on:
✨ Performance quality and stage presence
✨ Character development and storytelling
✨ Musicality and expression
✨ Strong jazz and theatre-based technique
✨ Competitive performance opportunities

This exciting addition allows Musical Theatre to stand as a true core company group, giving dancers a clear path to grow as confident, versatile performers both on and off the stage.
