Joining Company at Divine Dance Center is a commitment to excellence, discipline, teamwork, and growth. Please review the following carefully before auditioning for the 2026–2027 season.
Commitment & Follow Through
Please do not audition for any style you do not plan to fully commit to for the season.
Audition numbers directly impact:
Company placements
Class schedules
Choreography planning
Staff scheduling
Accepting a placement and later turning it down creates disruptions for both staff and dancers. We ask all families to be honest and intentional during the audition process.
This commitment continues throughout the season. Dropping mid-season negatively affects the team environment and is unfair to dancers who have fully committed.
Required Classes
All company dancers are required to participate in weekly technique and company classes.
Minimum Weekly Requirements:
Ballet Technique
Petites & Juniors: 1 ballet class per week
Teens & Seniors: 2 ballet classes per week
Style-Specific Training
Technique class in each competitive style
Company Class
Company rehearsal class in each style competed
These classes are essential for growth, consistency, and competitive success.
Attendance Matters
Attendance is critical and will be strictly enforced during the 2026–2027 season.
Attendance Policy:
Dancers may not miss more than:
3 class sessions total
September–December
3 class sessions total

Dance Must Be a Priority
Company is designed for serious dancers. Dance must take priority over other extracurricular activities.
Acceptable Exceptions:
Graded school activities (band, choir, required academic events)
Major family/personal milestone events:
Graduation
Weddings
Funerals
Not Accepted:

We do not schedule rehearsals around outside activities.
If dance cannot be prioritized, Company may not be the right fit for your dancer.
