Mrs. Maggie Berg
Hello and WELCOME to 2nd grade!
ALL ABOUT MRS. BERG -
I grew up in La Grange Illinois with my three siblings. After graduating from Lyons Township High School I went Illinois State University for my bachelors degree and became a proud Redbird for life! I received my masters at National Louis University in Elementary Education in 2017 and soon after became a Lincoln Eagle. I married my high school sweetheart in 2019 became Mrs. Berg. This will be my 6th year in River Forest and I could not be more excited to be in second grade again!
When I am not teaching amazing second graders I love to travel, camp, and hike. Here I am in a few years ago on a beautiful backpacking trip in Canada!
Meet Maeve! She is the newest member of the Berg family and definitely the cutest. We had a wonderful summer taking Maeve on her first road trip to Asheville, NC!
I also love to run! One of my biggest accomplishments is completing the Chicago Marathon in 2009 and 2021. I will be running a half marathon in September - wish me luck!
