Ms. Jill Kruger
Hello!
My name is Ms. Jill Kruger and I am SO EXCITED to be your second grade teacher!
About Me
I am originally from Akron, Ohio and moved to Chicago in 2010. Growing up in Ohio, I become a fan of all things Cleveland sports. You can definitely catch me cheering for the Guardians, Cavs, and Browns during each of their seasons! But growing up in Ohio didn't stop me from becoming a huge Michigan Wolverines fan...GO BLUE! I graduated with my Bachelors in Education in 2011 from the University of Toledo. In 2019, I graduated from Concordia University Chicago with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Previously, I taught first, second, and third grades in Chicago. This school year will be my 13th year teaching and my fifth full year at Lincoln Elementary! I CANNOT wait to learn and make memories with each of you during this school year! 🎉
During the summer of 2022 I brought home my sweet pup, Dottie! She is such a silly girl and I love watching snuggling and playing with her! Occasionally, you might spot me walking with her near Lincoln!
When I'm not teaching, I love to travel and explore new places! Here I am taking a tour of the Colosseum in Rome, Italy.
