What is a Global Citizen?
A global citizen has the following competencies:
Skills -Flexibility, Empathy, Effective Communication, Critical Thinking
Attitudes -Self Awareness, Respect for Differences, Global Mindedness, Curiosity
Knowledge-Intercultural Knowledge, Awareness of Global Issues
Each year our school focus is guided by one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). These lessons build the skills, attitudes and knowledge to be a global citizen.
International Nights
International Nights
International nights build our intercultural knowledge. We celebrate the diversity of our schools and the cultures we represent as a community. Typically these celebrations are in May and we hope to have a classroom component added in 2023.
