We are excited to invite families and friends to our first Band & Orchestra Concert of the school year! This performance celebrates the hard work and progress our beginning musicians have made during the first few months of learning their instruments.

Location: Martin Elementary Gym
Concert Time: 7:00 PM
Student Arrival: 6:40 PM in the Band Room
All students should wear their red Martin Band shirt with appropriate school-appropriate bottoms and comfortable shoes.
Our October concert is an informal performance designed to showcase the foundational skills students have been developing since the beginning of the school year. Students will perform several short selections while demonstrating proper playing posture, instrument technique, and ensemble skills. This concert is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate each student's musical growth and to experience the excitement of performing together for the first time.
At the end of the concert, families are invited to participate in our Hot Cross Buns Family Challenge! Students will teach a family member or special guest how to play "Hot Cross Buns" on their instrument. This fun activity gives students the chance to become the teacher while sharing what they have learned with someone they love. No musical experience is required—just a willingness to have fun! More information to be announced...
Join us for our Winter Band & Orchestra Concert as our students continue to showcase their musical growth and accomplishments. Since their first performance in October, students have expanded their musical knowledge and developed greater confidence on their instruments. This concert features more advanced music and highlights the progress they have made throughout the school year.

Concert Time: 6:00 PM
Student Arrival: To Be Determined
All students should wear their blue Conley Band shirt with appropriate school-appropriate bottoms and comfortable shoes.
Unlike our school concerts, the Festival Concerts combine all 5th grade band and orchestra students from across the district into one large ensemble. Students will rehearse together, make new friends from other schools, and experience what it is like to perform in a much larger group. The music performed at the festival represents the skills students have developed throughout the year and serves as a celebration of their first year in band or orchestra.
A pizza dinner will be provided for all participating students before the evening performance, giving them an opportunity to relax, socialize, and prepare for the concert.
Parent volunteers play an important role in making the Festival Concerts a success. Volunteer opportunities and sign-up information will be shared as the event approaches.
