Hello, WOIS Families!
What a great week! Our 4th graders did an amazing job at their Patriotic-themed concert! Their hard work and talent truly shined, and it was such a special experience for our students and families. A big shout-out to Mr. Stanich for organizing such a beautiful concert and to Ms. Levy for displaying the impressive student artwork. Thank you both for creating such a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their talents!
As we head into next week, a quick reminder that Red Ribbon Week and Halloween are coming up! Please see the linked documents for our spirit days and information regarding Halloween costumes, parties, and the parade. We look forward to celebrating with our Wolfpack and making these special moments fun and memorable for our students!
Have a wonderful weekend, Wolfpack Families! 🐺

Erin's Law: In accordance with Erin’s Law, all Illinois public schools are required to provide age-appropriate lessons each year to help students recognize unsafe situations, understand personal body safety, and know how to seek help from trusted adults. We will be presenting the lesson(s) during the weeks of November 2, 2026 through November 13, 2026. These lessons are designed to empower students with knowledge and skills to protect themselves. They focus on:
Understanding the difference between safe and unsafe touches
Identifying trusted adults at home and school
Learning how to say “no” and get help when feeling unsafe
Recognizing personal boundaries and respect for others
The lessons are presented in a sensitive, age-appropriate manner by our trained staff and/or approved curriculum resources. Our goal is to ensure students feel safe, supported, and informed. If you have questions about the content of these lessons or wish to review the materials before they are presented please contact your school social worker by Wednesday, October 28, 2026:
