Incoming 5th graders interested in joining band in FALL 2025 -
2025-2026 Woodland Intermediate 5th Grade Band
Sign-Up Timeline
May 12th/13th: All current 4th graders will try instruments during the school day with their homeroom to explore what they would like to play in band next year. Band is NOT a required class and starts in 5th grade.
May 12th/13th: Required Virtual Parent Presentation - recorded presentation link will be posted on the Band Website after school. Everyone must watch the recording before signing up for band. This is not a live meeting, but it is a requirement for 5th grade band sign-up and will explain ALL aspects of the band program.
Band instrument rental night/ Intermediate open house 6-8PM at Intermediate School. You must watch the band presentation video AND sign-up before renting an instrument. The music company will be available to set-up instrument rental contracts during Open House through 8pm. No trying instruments at this time, you may also rent online or over the phone.
May 28th: Google Sign-Up Form due to enroll in band class - you will receive a confirmation email from one of the band directors within 2 business days if you successfully completed the sign-up
July 22nd: Recommended deadline for securing an instrument from Quinlan and Fabish to have it delivered to school on time if you did not attend the rental night.
Early August: Follow-Up Email and start of school year band information sent out to families from Band Directors
