For many people with disabilities, work is not only about performance or productivity. It is about survival, dignity, and whether you can remain yourself in an environment that was not designed with you in mind.
You may be competent, experienced, and committed, yet still find yourself expending enormous energy navigating attitudes, assumptions, and systems that quietly undermine your confidence.
You might be:
questioning whether your current role or organisation is sustainable for you
unsure whether, when, or how to disclose a disability at work
navigating conversations about reasonable accommodation without wanting to be seen as difficult
feeling torn between gratitude for having a job and exhaustion from constantly adapting
noticing self-doubt or limiting beliefs creeping in, even when your skills are not in question
Coaching in this space is not about giving labour relations advice or telling you what decisions to make.
It is about having a confidential and grounded space to:
reflect on your career direction and sense of purpose
think carefully through disclosure and accommodation choices
strengthen confidence and boundaries in the workplace
build practical understanding of rights and options, without legal advice
reconnect with your own criteria for dignity, sustainability, and growth at work
I work as a coach, not as a therapist, counsellor, medical practitioner, or legal advisor. I do not provide labour relations or legal support.
What I do bring is long-standing experience working alongside employees with disabilities, employers, unions, and policymakers, and an ability to support thoughtful decision-making in complex and emotionally charged work environments.
“I stopped feeling like I had to justify my existence at work. I became clearer about what I needed and what I was no longer willing to absorb.”
This is paid coaching work. It asks for a willingness to invest in yourself and to engage reflectively in the process.
If you are seeking legal representation, dispute resolution, or free services, I may not be the right person, and I say this with care and understanding of the economic pressures many employees with disabilities face.
If you are navigating work-related decisions and want a steady space to think clearly and reclaim agency, you are welcome to reach out.
