The Tulare County Suicide Prevention Task Force (SPTF) operates under full funding from the Tulare County Mental Health Services Act: Prevention and Early Intervention Plan. This task force serves as a dynamic, multi-disciplinary collaboration, uniting professionals from government, education, community-based service providers, and engaged community members. Extensive training, activities, and educational initiatives are disseminated across our community to enhance awareness regarding the signs and symptoms of suicide risk, alongside promoting best practices for prevention and early intervention.
The Fresno County Suicide Prevention Collaborative brings together a diverse array of groups with a shared objective: mitigating suicides in our community. Government agencies, community-based organizations, non-profits, and engaged community members join forces to deepen their understanding of suicide, assess prevention initiatives, and establish a cohesive system to address suicide across Fresno County.
