We have enthusiastically embraced the Second Step SEL programs listed below to empower our students with the essential skills and insights they need to excel as responsible community members and exemplary citizens.
In the year 2023, Kennedy Elementary achieved the esteemed distinction of Platinum Level Status, in acknowledgment of our remarkable accomplishments in implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). This innovative and evidence-based framework operates on a three-tiered approach, seamlessly enhancing and unifying all aspects of data, systems, and practices that shape the daily experiences and educational outcomes of our students.
PBIS serves as a guiding light for our institution, dedicated to the holistic development and success of every student, with a particular focus on those with disabilities.
