How did they play the game?

The Indian boarding school football was pretty much the same as how we played football. From what I have read a man with the name of Pratt brought football to the boarding schools so then the Indians could enjoy the sports we do. They didn't have helmets or pad at the time so they pretty much play a off brand version of rugby at the time before they indvented pads and helmets for the players to be safer. Well for  helmets they used leather hats that fit to the size of their head and they had a little padding in them.
