We are currently a school within a school. Our students take all their classes on our campus. It is open for all to apply – not just some kids.

Students must take and pass the Reading TSI test to take a college class. We are a TSI testing site at DHS. We have a summer bridge to help those students pass and become eligible.

Dilley ECHS students are integrated into college classes the first semester of their freshman year, gradually increasing the number until they are taking almost all college classes their senior year. Students may have to give up some extracurriculars if they want to earn the 60 hour Associates Degree.

We also have AVID as a support for successful implementation.

This includes college visits and fairs, support for finding and assisting in filling out applications, scholarships, and internship opportunities, as well as daily academic support.
