Welcome to my website

Welcome! My name is Jorge E. Pezoa, and this is my eternally under construction page. I am an Associate Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department of the Universidad de Concepción, in Concepción, Chile, and mainly appointed with the undergraduate program Ingeniería Civil en Telecomunicaciones. Also, between 2010 and 2015, I was appointed as Associate Researcher with the Center for Optics and Photonics (CEFOP) at the Universidad de Concepción. From August 2014 to August 2016, I was the director of the Undergraduate Program in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidad de Concepción. Currently, I am Associate Chair of the Electrical Engineering Department of the Universidad de Concepción.

I got my M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Concepción, in Concepción, Chile, and my Ph.D. degree in Engineering from University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. My Curriculum Vitae can be found here.
