"What Are You Eating?" was the culmination of my Mellon Arts and Tech Fellowship in the summer of 2022. The installation work featured a sculpted projection surface and hanging "intestinal", organic walls both made from recycled material. The audiovisual channel was crafted from participant Mukbangs. There was also an olfactory component to futher immerse the participants (the room smelled of tomato leaf, rosemary, and pink pepper).

Here are some of my favorite things that the attendees said when asked: How did the exhibit make you feel?

"It was intense, erotic, sensual, slurping moans … mouths hair etc. very much reminiscent of surrealist art of the 1920s 1930s. Love the Pipilotti Rist reference"

"Uncomfortable. Now I’m thinking about how I look and sound when I eat."

"It’s beautiful but also confusing"
