Participants from EU nations, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand do not need a Visa to enter Italy. Several NON-EU citizens will need a Visa.
We strongly recommend you to check the official website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (http://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home/en) for updated and detailed information regarding entrance Visas and permits of stay in Italy.
We also recommend you to contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate nearest to you.
IMPORTANT: If an entry visa is required, please allow sufficient time for this procedure.
Upon entering Italy and the Schengen Area, even if you have a visa, Border Authorities are authorized once again to check the documents required for issuance of the visa.
Conference attendees who require a visa will typically need an invitation letter from the General Chair with the subject “Visa Invitation Letter Request”.
