UNITAR Fellowship Programme in Peacemaking and Preventive Diplomacy

The 2026 UNITAR Fellowship Programme in Peacemaking and Preventive Diplomacy, conducted by the United Nations Insitute for Training and Research (UNITAR), aims to provide advanced training inconflict analysis, negotiation, and mediation for internaitonal and national civil servants, witha focus on strengthening skills and supporting the prevention and resolution of international disputes within the United Nations framework
Interested applicants must take note of the requirements for this course. The Participant must:
Be a mid- to senior-level diplomatic staff with a demonstrated commitment to field and the ability to apply the knowledge gained to policymaking and/or implementation for the benefit of the country, region or international community
Be fluent in English
Nominations of female applicants are highly encouraged
This program offers Partial Scholarship coverage throughout the study period.
Program Inclusions:
Tuition, accommodation, and meals for the duration of the program
Program Exclusions:
International airfare and other incidental expenses shaall be shouldered by the participants
