Dayaw 2026: National Indigenous People’s Month Celebration, 14 October 2026

In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Month, the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar joins the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, in partnership with the Foundation for Lingap Kapampangan, Inc. (FLKI), in presenting Dayaw2026, with the theme “Pagkamalikhain ng Katutubong Filipino: Pinagtibay ng mga Pagsubok, Umaalab ang Bagong Pag-asa” (Creativity of Indigenous Filipinos: Strengthened by Challenges, Igniting New Hope).

Bringing together Indigenous Peoples and cultural bearers from across the country, this year’s gathering celebrates the creativity, resilience, and enduring traditions of our Indigenous Cultural Communities.

Through shared stories, knowledge, and lifeways, Dayaw2026 highlights how Indigenous creativity continues to thrive amid challenges and inspires new hope for future generations.

“Building Resilience: Breast Cancer Prevention, Treatment, and Care,” 08 October 2026

As part of its ongoing commitment to community health and early detection initiatives, the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the State of Qatar is pleased to announce an upcoming breast cancer awareness talk entitled, “Building Resilience: Breast Cancer Prevention, Treatment, and Care.”

The event will be held Thursday, 08 October 2026, 4:30 p.m., at the Embassy Chancery.

Held in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event is organized in cooperation with the World Health Organization, Filipino Medical Association - Qatar, IAM Filipina, and Qabayan Radio 94.3.
