Unified is a section of the Special Olympics. Students with IDD (Intellectual Developmental Disabilities) are on a team with their peer partners. The students create an inclusive team and compete in sports together against other local teams. Our teams include: soccer/flag football in the fall, basketball in the winter and dance/cheer/track in the spring! This summer we will have a small camp that includes Unified theater as well! We are preparing to play Saline in basketball at a Pistons game this year. We also hope to have a big enough team to compete in State Games.
