Hi DMS, this month I had the opportunity to interview Mrs. Marston. She is one of the new teachers in our building. She teaches 8th Grade ELA and Life Skills. I asked her a few questions to get to know her.
Why did you decide to teach at Dexter?
"This is the place I called home for 2 years, and I wanted to get to know the kids in the community and get closer to them at church."
How are you liking it?
"I am loving it."
How long have you been teaching?
"3 years."
If you could teach any other subject, what would it be? Why
"Math, because it has always come easily to me, and helping kids in Advisory and PLUS is really enjoyable for me."
What is your favorite book/movie?
"Throne of Glass series."
