Identification of the project and the activity:

Fundación Casa Hogar Santa Rosa (FCHSR) is a non-profit, non-political, civil organization that provides comprehensive care (psychological, medical, training, housing, food, security and legal advice) to women and their children, survivors of gender-based violence.

What are we going to do?

Psychological support: FCHSR's experience shows that it is difficult to break the cycle of violence and many of the women who leave the home end up returning to their partner/offender. Volunteers would assist in providing psychological support to the women to help them in the process of inner healing, contributing to the development of a healthy emotional independence.

Visibility in social networks: lThe volunteers would actively collaborate with the home's staff in the visibility and updating of social networks and the development of an advocacy and positioning plan in social networks.

Financial sustainability: FCHSR's sustainability has always been a challenge that is assumed through strategic alliances; however, there is a need to create at least a percentage of endogenous sustainability. The volunteers would support the staff of the home in the elaboration of the sustainability plan and the development of activities and methodologies aimed at raising financial resources.
