Profile:
Students from 2nd grade onwards. The following degrees will be valued for the different positions: Social Work, Criminology, Psychology, Social Education, Law, Communication, ADE, Nursing and Physiotherapy.

From July 1 to August 31 (flexible dates). Minimum of 1 month volunteering. Preference for 2 months. Flexibility to host in June if needed.

Project and activity identification:
The mission of Arrels Sant Ignasi is to welcome, accompany and defend people in vulnerable situations in the city of Lleida and its surroundings, creating a supportive community capable of getting involved in the transformation towards a fairer world.
The profile of people with vulnerability that Arrels Sant Ignasi serves ranges from people in situations of homelessness, with addiction problems or prison population.
What are we going to do?
Support is expected during a low volunteer and internship period. The fact that they are students with diverse backgrounds can add value to the team.
1. SUPPORT PROFILE #1 (between 2 and 3 persons)
The students will be supporting in a transversal way in the different programs of the entity, getting to know the foundation in its integrity and understanding the circuit of reception and follow-up of the users.
Centre Obert: day center of first reception and socio-educational intervention for homeless people. They will cover their basic needs (shower, laundry, breakfast and snack, closet, locker...). They will support the day-to-day running of the center, welcoming people, socializing and bonding with them.
La Botigueta: service for individuals and families in vulnerable situations, accompanying them to access food. It will support the driving of the van, distribution of food, monitoring and accompanying users, translation in social care.
Reducció de danys: A social-health care service that works so that people can reduce the harm caused by drug use. The work will be the linking of users, supporting the health professional and the social technician with the supervision of consumption and prevention of possible overdoses.
Outpatient accompaniment and Therapeutic Community: with users who are undergoing detoxification and reinsertion processes (users in outpatient follow-up and others in a 24-hour controlled apartment).
Support will be given in workshops such as gardening, art, music, etc.
We will accompany them in recreational spaces such as cinema or swimming pool.
Sharing one dinner a week with the children of the therapeutic community.
2. SUPPORTING PROFILE #2 (1 person)
Management support: communication support (website, social networks, diffusion), financial management, data entry to the database, marketing campaign,...
Depending on the profile of the participants, more emphasis may be placed on one activity or another.
Dedication schedule to the assigned task and days of the week in which it is performed. It is possible to collaborate in more than one center.
Centre Obert: from 9.30 am to 11 am and from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
Botigueta: from 10h to 13h and Thursday from 16h to 18.30h.
Reducció de danys: timetable from 12.30h to 19.30h.
Outpatient support and therapeutic community: according to need.

Previous training:
All students selected for the VUELA program will receive common training for participation in volunteer activities.

Field support:
Field support will be provided by the organization itself throughout the project.
Lodging and meals:
Shared apartment rental in Lleida and common bag for the maintenance during the project.
Esade and Arrels will help in the search for accommodation and will facilitate the arrival. Each volunteer will have to contribute individually an equal amount to the common bag to cover the costs of rent and maintenance. The amounts will be communicated prior to arrival, as well as the method of payment.

Transport:
The student is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to the intervention site, and must inform the project's reference university of the date and time of arrival at least 15 days in advance.
