THE UNIVERSITY OF DEUSTO
The University of Deusto was inaugurated in 1886. The institution is located on two campuses, Bilbao and San Sebastian, with headquarters in Madrid and Vitoria. It has more than 12.000 students, 600 professors and 1200 invited professors. As a Jesuit University, Deusto is a part of an international network, formed by 202 educational institutions that provide a pedagogical tradition centered on the person as essential value.

The Deusto International Staff Week 2025 will be held at the Bilbao Campus of the University of Deusto. Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangement and cost.
The program includes one day visit to San Sebastian-Donostia Campus.

Bilbao’s airport (BIO) is located 12 km north of the city center. It is the largest airport in the Basque Country, and the easiest way to reach Bilbao.

Bilbao is well-connected by a network of railway lines, with direct routes from major Spanish cities like Madrid and Barcelona.
The city's main train station, Bilbao-Abando Indalecio Prieto, is located in the city center.

Transport by road is another good option to get to Bilbao, especially considering its the excellent road network.
Termibus coach station serves as the main hub for both national and international connections.
