In today's interconnected world, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) must be prepared to thrive in a diverse and global society. The Deusto International Staff Program 2025, titled “Interculturality: A Cornerstone in Higher Education" explores the multifaceted dimensions of intercultural competence and its impact in shaping future leaders.
This program delves into the essential questions of how to effectively integrate interculturality into the university at different levels. It aims to explore both a top-down approach by examining contextual and policy influences, decision-making, structures, and curricula, while also exploring a bottom-up perspective by exploring initiatives created by teachers at the classroom level and by youth both inside and outside the classroom.
Throughout one week and two online sessions, participants will engage in thought-provoking sessions led by experts in the field, participate in interactive workshops designed to develop practical skills, and exchange good practices and ideas with colleagues from around the world.
The Deusto International Staff Program 2025 offers a unique platform for global dialogue to contribute to a more inclusive, understanding, and globally minded academic community.
