Apprenticeship is a workforce development strategy which is an earn-and-learn model that combines paid, on-the-job training with related classroom instruction, ensuring apprentices gain both practical experience and technical knowledge.

Apprentices graduate with proven competencies, industry-specific skills, and a nationally recognized credential that demonstrates their expertise. 

Internships provide students with real-world experiences that connect classroom instruction to careers, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and professional networks needed for long-term success. Through structured opportunities that include on-the-job training , students engage in hands-on learning that reinforces academic concepts while building both technical and employability skills.

High-quality internships are developed in partnership with business and industry, ensuring alignment with current workforce needs and postsecondary pathways. By earning wages while they learn, students gain valuable workplace readiness skills and a smoother transition from education to career.
