Built in 1958, this classic California mid-century really needed an update. The tile and finishes were worn, the small kitchen was cut off from the rest of the house and the exterior living spaces were uninspired and forgotten. The renovation focused on opening the kitchen to the main living space, reconfiguring the center of the house to create an office, an additional bedroom and a powder room, revising the layouts and materials of the bathrooms, and creating multiple outdoor spaces that extended seamlessly from the interior.
