2026 La Quinta High School Graduation Information

Date: Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 7:30 pm
Location: La Quinta High School football stadium.

Guest Information:
Gates will open at 6:00pm. Ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm.

Seating is by last name

• A-Ga Visitor Side

• Ge-Z Home Side

Each Graduate will receive 6 tickets if they submit FAFSA by the March 2nd deadline for entry into the stadium.  Every person, including babies and children, must have a ticket to enter.

Parking will be available in all LQHS parking lots and at Earhart Elementary school. Handicap parking is reserved by the tennis courts with a valid placard.

To ensure everyone's safety and to maximize seating capacity the following WILL NOT be allowed into the stadium:

• Flower vases, balloons or signs

• Noise makers

• Vaping, smoking, alcohol, or drugs

• Coolers, strollers, or tripods

Graduate Information:

Graduates have mandatory practice on Monday June 1st from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

Graduates will receive tickets, cap and gown after the mandatory practice on Monday June 1st. Tickets will not be released to students who owe library books or ASB fees. 

Graduates are NOT allowed to bring their phones or any personal items with them to Graduation. 

Graduates are NOT allowed to decorate their caps or where any homemade or family purchased stoles, sashes or leis. Only DSUSD issued regalia is allowed during the ceremony. Gowns must be zipped up for the duration of the ceremony. Families can give out stoles, sashes or leis after the ceremony to celebrate.

Professional photographers will be taking pictures of the graduates receiving their diplomas. Pictures may be purchased by Cherished Memories.
