DS Faculty - History - Academic Support

I've loved writing, and writing poetry, since I was a child. This particular poem was inspired by a virtual writing tutoring session I did with a student this past spring. My family and I were spending a lot of time outside at our fire pit so we could stay in the fresh air and not worry so much about virus spread (I had to quarantine for two weeks during this time, so the fire pit was especially important for me!).
