MHS-Our Senior Year - House of Gelia Tagumpay-Castillo

Through this platform, we will showcase HUMSS A student's selected works from different subject areas to appreciate great efforts in accomplishing each activity. The virtual museums will feature outputs in the Third Quarter of the Second Semester from the five subject areas:

Media Information Literacy, Health Optimizing Physical Education, Creative Nonfiction, Inquiries, Investigations and Immersion, Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions, Work Immersion, and Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century.

This website was crafted by the empowered students of 12-HUMSS A. It revolves around the theme of METAMORPHOSIS that symbolizes the process of growth of every individual student. Just like a butterfly, each of us underwent incredible changes in different stages of our life that resulted to who we are right now.

Metamorphosis allows us to witness such beautiful things to happen as we withstand a long process.

YOU ARE IN THE EGG PHASE

To be a vessel in spreading awareness about digital divide, cyberbullying, and internet addiction through a video campaign ad.

To encourage and simultaneously enhance every student's physical skills and strength and make healthy workout tips in an enjoyable and trendy-oriented way using social media.

YOU ARE IN THE LARVA PHASE

To be able to express the students most treasured memories by writing a creative memoir that features different writing techniques to better show the readers their story. These experiences will serve as an aspiration to other people and be a light to this world full of darkness. These stories can also remind them that they are not fighting alone.

To present various research endeavors that discusses different social issues and discover, investigate, and find answers to research questions that could benefit not only the students but also the community.

YOU ARE IN THE PUPA PHASE

To introduce the Philippines' National Artists and to highlight their excellent work of arts by bringing a virtual museum to existence and allowing visitors to learn the different art styles and techniques of the National Artists.

YOU ARE IN THE BUTTERFLY PHASE

To spread awareness in a certain cause such as climate change through a video advocacy that educates people in a way of giving solutions for prevention and a place of sanctuary.

To practice students from answering difficult questions and develop interview strategies that will improve their communication skills in the real world.
