This project aims to reduce the alarming rise in the number of stray animals loitering around the streets of Angeles City as it strives to innovate and become prominent in the country. Pet Allies Corporation (PAC) intends to implement two stages of Project PUSA; (1) providing the needs for animal shelters and (2) spreading awareness to communities on how to improve animal welfare.
Provides basic animal needs among local animal shelters by outsourcing funds from the collection of recyclables and exchanging them with local government (LGUs) and non-government organizations (NGOs) for funds. The collected funds will then be utilized to purchase animal necessities – pet food, medication, etc., and fund local animal shelters in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Enlighten local communities about the proper ways of caring for stray animals. In turn, this may lead to well-educated community members that are aware of the process they need to adapt to uphold animal welfare in their community. This will be done through seminars in partnership with local organizations that promote animal welfare like Noah’s Ark Animal Dog and Cat Sanctuary.
Attached here is a list of all required materials and resources needed to ensure a smooth implementation of the two stages of the program:
The initial budget for the project, which covers all necessary supplies, including meals and refreshments for the entire team, is in the range of Php 10,000. This also covers auxiliary funds in case of emergency situations. Most of the technical resources (laptop, projector, etc.) are readily available and will be obtained through outsourcing networks, thus, will not be bought.
