About TVL
The Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Strand prepares students for work or entrepreneurship immediately after senior high school. It offers hands-on experience and industry-based training under various specializations.
Students under the TVL strand learn practical skills through workshops, laboratory tasks, and TESDA-accredited programs. They can earn National Certificates (NC II) for employment.
Common specializations include ICT (Computer Systems Servicing), Home Economics, Agri-Fishery, and Industrial Arts.
TVL students can pursue careers such as:
Chef or Baker
Computer Technician
Electrician or Welder
Caregiver or Housekeeping Staff
The TVL strand builds skill, independence, and readiness for real-world opportunities.
