Whether you aim for college, employment, or entrepreneurship, there is a place for you here. Explore our six strands below to learn more!
💼 ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management)
The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand trains students to become strategic thinkers and future business leaders.
It provides practical knowledge in business operations, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
ABM students learn to manage projects, create business plans, and develop leadership and teamwork skills.
Graduates of ABM often pursue careers in accounting, management, banking, or start their own business — turning their ideas into success stories.
The Alternative Learning System (ALS) is a program designed for out-of-school youth and adults who want to continue their education.
It provides flexible learning opportunities through literacy and equivalency programs, allowing learners to achieve the same diploma as regular high school graduates.
ALS learners prove that education is for everyone — no matter the age or background.
Through perseverance and dedication, they show that it’s never too late to learn and succeed.
The General Academic Strand (GAS) is perfect for students who are still exploring their interests.
It combines subjects from Humanities, Science, and Business, giving learners a balanced education that keeps all career options open.
Students under GAS develop flexibility, communication skills, and analytical thinking — preparing them for a wide range of college courses such as Education, Psychology, or Management.
GAS is for those who are curious, versatile, and ready to discover their true calling.
The Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand focuses on people, culture, and society.
It enhances students’ understanding of communication, human behavior, and the world around them.
HUMSS students learn to express themselves clearly, think critically about social issues, and lead with compassion.
This strand is ideal for future teachers, writers, journalists, lawyers, counselors, and public servants who wish to make a difference through words and ideas.
The STEM strand develops learners’ logical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
It’s designed for students who are passionate about science, experiments, and technology.
Through subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Calculus, STEM students learn how to analyze and create solutions to real-world challenges.
This strand prepares future engineers, doctors, scientists, IT professionals, and innovators who will shape the future with knowledge and creativity.
The Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track focuses on hands-on learning and job-ready skills.
It offers specializations like ICT, Home Economics, Industrial Arts, and Agri-Fishery Arts, allowing students to gain practical experience and earn TESDA certifications.
TVL students can choose to work right after senior high school or use their skills to start a small business.
This track empowers learners to become self-reliant, skilled, and ready to contribute to their communities.
At Talavera Senior High School, we guide students to become the best versions of themselves.
Our teachers, programs, and facilities work together to help every learner grow — academically, socially, and personally.
Choose your strand, follow your passion, and take the first step toward a brighter future.
