About ALS
About ALS
The Alternative Learning System (ALS) provides education for out-of-school youth and adults who wish to continue or complete their studies. It offers flexible learning options that adapt to the learner’s needs.
Students under ALS learn basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills that prepare them for employment or further education. The program values inclusivity and lifelong learning.
ALS offers programs such as Basic Literacy, Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E), and Skills Training.
Graduates of ALS can:
Enroll in college
Apply for jobs using their A&E certificate
Start their own small businesses
ALS builds hope, resilience, and lifelong learners—proving that education truly has no limits.
