The Senior High School within Sineguelasan Elementary School that offers Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track was established during the School Year 2016 – 2017 as mandated by Republic Act 10533 that enhances the Philippine Basic Education System by strengthening the curriculum through increasing the number of years of basic education by adding two years in high school known as Senior high School.
Due to the growing community and increasing population in Sineguelasan, it’s barangay officials had decided to institute a Senior High School that will empower their youth and become productive members of their community. Through the initiative of the Barangay Captain of barangay Sineguelasan and Mr. Adorando R. Darvin, the principal of Sineguelasan Elementary School and the incoming principal of Senior High School within Sineguelasan Elementary School, their efforts and hard works to establish a public senior high school becomes a reality. The first year of operation was a struggle since there was no existing building yet that will accommodate the senior high school students and the faculty members. The Schools Division Superintendent of Bacoor City during that time was Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes who decided to transfer the students and faculty members of SHS within Sineguelasan Elementary School to Senior High School Dulong Bayan as adopted school together with Senior High School within Bacoor Elementary School.
During the first year of operation of SHS within Sineguelasan Elementary School the total enrollment was 64 students of which were 21 males and 43 females with ten (10) faculty members, three of them are Master Teachers namely: Joy S. Abuan, Mary Ann Ilagan, and Edwin U. Ugali, and the rest of the teachers are: Kynah Amor M. Darvin, May M. Dolis, Sheila Q. Bernardo, Cassie L. Enriquez, Lalaine P. Abad, Abigael M. Villanueva and Robinson R. Poblete together with their School Principal Mr. Adorando R. Darvin. The next years followed by transitions of School Heads that served as educational leaders and managers such as: Dr. Alexander M. Morron Jr. and Mr. Alfredo N. Sarabusab that showed exemplary and competent leadership.
During its third year of operation, the SHS within Sineguelasan Elementary School became one of the outstanding and performing schools in the entire country, as the school became competitive and even champion not only in the region but also in the national and in the international competitions.
The enrolment of this institution is quite unpredictable in increase and surprisingly students are academically achievers. Now, that there is a new established building to accommodate and take care the needs of the senior high school students in Sineguelasan Elementary School with the new competent and hard-working school head Ms. Kynah Amor M. Darvin together with the new faculty members namely: Benedick M. Sarmiento, Julie Anne Domanico, Aihllien O. Mendoza, Kassandra Jobelle F. De Cardo, Eduardo M. Ello, Ronald Longcop, Nova Amor B. Castillo, and Ma. Lou B. Recodig added to the team the school is determined to start a brand new life in a new environment where the students and the teachers really belong to extend their hands for enhancing the skills of the learners in the field of technology and Home Economics through a well-established partnership among stakeholders, which will pave the way to have equal access on quality learning.
The school is geared to produce graduates who are fully-equipped with 21st century skills making each learner a globally competitive citizen of the country.
