The Adopt A School, which started in 1998, was created to help generate investments and support to education outside the mainstream funding and the national budget. Under the program, legally instituted by the passage of Republic Act no. 8525 also known as “Adopt-a-School Act of 1998’. Private entities or local are given the opportunity to become partners in education through their assistance in the upgrading and modernizations of public elementary schools.
According to this act, any private individual group, organization, or institution can be partners in education. With the coordination of BE chairman, we can gather information about partnership.
We were glad that as of today, we had private group who continues to participate in our plan/projects.
With the help of our school head Dr. Maricel G. Santiago and BE chairman, Mrs. Grace Guevarra, we promised to deliver a great basic education to our learners.
With the Adopt A School each San Jose Patag Elementary School learners can have the opportunity to enjoy the right to education and pursue their respective dreams.
Every quarter of the year, we submitted report to our coordinator to monitor the investments of the school with the guidance of our school head and BE chairman. As a Adopt A School coordinator we need to accomplish report as such:

f. Training and Development
g. Direct Assistance
h. Assistive Learning Devices for Student with Special Needs
