The above mission is indeed the father of conception putting up annex school of Cordova National High School at Pacac Grande, Amulung, Cagayan. It was 2005 the then Municipal Mayor Attorney Nicanor C. De Leon thought of a High School to sophistication needs of the students at Barangay Logung, Alituntung, Pacac Grande, Tana and Palayag known as Itawis district to lessen the plight of the parents in sending their children to school hence the mayor presented the idea to the council through Municipal resolution number 01- 2006 SB Alexander Pascual ,SB Ambrocio Peňa, SB Leonardo Castro, SB Fernando De Leon, Vice Mayor Anastacio Morgado and many others had positively acceded to the mayor's claymore of bringing education to the doorstep of the constituents just like a fetus inside a mother's womb the idea to put up an annex school had grown and was modified when parents and barangay officials of the above-mentioned barangay’s proposed to the local government of the tongue to put up an annex school in June 2006 abuts of 56 first-year students were already and the lord and role in the annex school in the pioneer of Cordova National High School-Pacac Grande Annex the opening was grace then by the municipal officials aforementioned the barangay captains namely Hon. Romulo Pagulayan of Logung, Hon. Rolando Suriaga of Alituntung, Hon. Abraham Isip of Pacac Grande and Hon. Carlito Guizzagan of Tana; with the principal of Cordova National High School, Mrs. Ceferina M. Canlas. During its first year of operation the students were house at Pacac Grande-Tana Elementary School does having the name of the school as Cordova National High School-Pacac Grande-Tana Extension, Mrs. Evangelyn Ballesta the everyday school principal of Pacac Grande Elementary School certify that there is enough chairs and available classroom for the 56 students and roll for the opening of extension class of Cordova National High School in the said Elementary School was permitted by the Department of Education Region 02.
The extension, having a single section year level was then man by Mrs. luzviminda M. Simangan and Miss Maryjanne B. Morgado was then a Teacher in-Charge but succeeded by Mr. Nirvan E. Eguizabal on August 2006.
In 2007, the school head still occupied rooms of the elementary school. By that time, read it we're levels that was why Mrs. Mylene Esteban and Miss Aida S. Oliveros where hired as LGU Teachers. It was mid of the school year 2007-2008 when Barangay Captain Abraham Isip, in the name of Pacac Grande, purchase a lot and donated it for CNHS Extension where the principal was Mrs. Corazon Camayang.
Having already a lot, though not yet titled in the name of the school the Department of Education gave a single classroom through its principal-Led School Building Program, thereafter,the Local Government Unit of Amulung through Hon. Pacita N. De Leon also constructed a two room building which was completed on March 2008.
In june 2008 the school has opened on its own site having three levels already and consequently making the name CNHS Pacac Grande-Tana Extension to CNHS Pacac Grande Extension Classes since it was no longer houses at Pacac Grande-Tana Elementary School where it got its former name. By that time, Miss Maryjanne B. Morgado was back as Teacher-in-Charge manning five teachers.
By 2009, the school was already a complete high school. A temporary classroom building was built to shelter the 119 first-year students. The temporary classroom was built thru the assistance government through Mayor Pacita De Leon and the support of the parents who unselfishly rendered their help without being paid for the labor.
September 2009 when Mr. Charles M. Marcos was designated officially as Teacher in-Charge by the Division Office with Mrs. Marietta L. Tumaneng, Ph.D. as the Schools Division Superintendent. Through accurate reporting of the needs of the newly established schools in terms of teacher needs and classroom needs, seven new classroom buildings was then constructed to accommodate the increasing enrolment of the school every year. Two-room building was given by the Hon. Congressman Randolph S. Ting, another two-room building from the Provincial Government through Hon. Alvaro Antonio, two-room building from the Public Works and Highways and a one classroom building from the Department of Education. In 2011, the 1.7 school lot donated by the Official of Pacac Grande headed by then, Barangay Captain Abraham Isip was titled in the name of the Department of Education.
In December 3, 2013, the school gain its independency from its mother school, the Cordova National High School and became PACAC GRANDE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.
Since its establishment, PACAC GRANDE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL continues to live and to fulfill its role in nation building as laboratory of learning with its battle cry "EXCELLENCE IS OUR GRANDEST GOAL" anchored with the Department's VISION and MISSION and to the agency's battle cry "SULONG EDUKALIDAD".
