Investigate the effects of static electricity using common materials, such as a comb, plastic and glass rods, and balloons
Watch the video carefully from start to finish, and take note of the important points. After watching, complete the required activity or assessment to check your understanding.
Open the virtual online simulator. Follow the on-screen steps to explore how electrons move from one object to another when they are rubbed together. Observe how this transfer of electrons creates static electricity. Take note of what happens in each activity and complete the questions or task after the simulation.
