Specific plant adaptations include cactus spines for protection and reduced water loss, mangrove stilt roots for stability in water and oxygen absorption, and succulent waxy leaves to store water and prevent evaporation. Other adaptations include taproots to access deep underground water, large leaves to capture more sunlight, and specialized root systems for water absorption or providing stability in different environments.
