Focused on the thrust of the Department of Education (DepEd) to make every learner a reader, Baua National High School (BNHS) inked its partnership with the Grolier International Incorporated through the Amazing Kids Interactive for the conduct of reading program through book donations.
The program EDUTOUR “Learning While Having Fun” initiative of Grolier and DepEd was introduced to BNHS by the Amazing Kids Interactive, an official distributor in the Philippines of Grolier during the Book Donation Turnover Ceremony on May 3, 2021 at the New SHS Building Conference Hall.
“Every school should aim to make every learner a reader through motivating and inspiring him/her to read books… and this is our devotion to all academic institutions including families,” said Jackie Lou S. Dagman, Middle Manager of Amazing Kids Interactive in her backgrounding of the program.
“It is a challenge for us to achieve this goal but I know we can do this,” Dagman added.
Meanwhile, Joel Agpaoa, school librarian, agreed with Dagman recognizing the program’s goal and even using the term “make our learners voracious readers.”
“This is indeed a sumptuous meal to our learners,” said Cresley B. Tablac, MTI and OIC Principal on his acceptance message in agreement to the term used by the school librarian.
Said undertaking was attended and witnessed by teachers and the whole team of Grolier International Inc.
Each teacher also received books of their choice. #
