The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand will concentrate on the fundamental principles of financial and business management, corporate operations, and all other things related thereto. ABM will lead you to management and accounting careers such as general manager, human resources director, marketing chief, financial controller, bookkeeper, accounting clerk, internal auditor, and more. Learners may also undergo National Certification in Bookkeeping (NCIII) which serves as entry level certification in corporate industries.
STEM is an academic strand which focuses in the field of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Learners are given a handful of topics in these learning areas enabling them to grasp theoretical and applied knowledge necessary to leverage in higher education degrees in hard sciences (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics), mathematics, technology (e.g ICT, mechanical, medical) and engineering.
TVL-ICT is a Senior High School strand specifically designed for computer-savvy students. Its curriculum combines core, applied, and specialized subjects required for all SHS strands. Specialized hands-on courses are patterned from TESDA ICT competencies which further allow learners to take competency assessment and enables them employment opportunities after Senior High School. Learners trained in utilizing information and communication tools may also opt to take degree courses in higher education related to radio and television technology, computer programming, computer engineering, information technology, and network engineering.
TVL-Industrial Arts is a Senior High School strand designed to develop learners’ skills in related livelihood projects. Its curriculum combines core, applied, and specialized subjects required for all SHS strands. Specialized hands-on courses are patterned with TESDA Industrial Arts competency-based assessment. Students in this strand undergo TESDA assessment for National Certifications (NCs) which aims for increased employability opportunity after graduation from Senior High School. Learners may also opt to take related college degree such as business, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, hospitality and tourism management, nutrition, food technology, and food management. Learners may opt to pursue related college degree in civil engineering, architecture, and allied courses.
TVL AFA strand equips learners with the theoretical and hands-on application of skills related to agriculture and fisheries. Learners are given a handful of topics in Crop Production which they can readily apply in their home gardens. Learners can opt to seek employment after SHS or can pursue a college degree in related disciplines such as agriculture and fisheries technology.
TVL-HE is a Senior High School strand designed to develop learners’ skills in related livelihood projects. Its curriculum combines core, applied, and specialized subjects required for all SHS strands. Specialized hands-on courses are patterned with TESDA Home Economics competency-based assessment. Students in this strand undergo TESDA assessment for National Certifications (NCs) which aims for increased employability opportunity after graduation from Senior High School. Learners may also opt to take related college degree such as business, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, hospitality and tourism management, nutrition, food technology, and food management.
