Automotive Servicing is a technical-vocational program that trains students how to inspect, maintain and repair light and heavy-duty automotive vehicles. The Auto Servicing NC II program covers both mechanical and electrical components, including the battery, ignition, clutch, brakes, lighting, steering and suspension systems.
TESDA Carpentry NC II course is the acquisition of skills and training in which primary work is to cut, shape and install building materials. It is also performing stripping formworks. Carpenters often work with woods in creating cabinets, beds, and other furniture. Moreover, it is the art and trade of working and joining timber more often done in making doors, windows and staircases. It is called to be one of the oldest craft being done by humans.
This course is designed to develop knowledge, skills, and desirable attitudes of an individual in the field of Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing National Certificate Level II (NCII). The student is expected to demonstrate common competencies in applying quality standards,perform computer operations,perform mensuration and calculation,prepare and interpret technical drawings,use and maintain hand tools,terminate and connect electrical wiring and electronic circuits,and test electronic components. It also includes the development of core competencies such as assembling electronic products, service consumer electronic products and systems (audio products and audio-video products),and service industrial electronic modules, products, and systems.
DRAFTING
This is an exploratory and introductory course that leads to Technical Drafting National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five(5)common competencies that a Grade7/Grade 8 Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) student ought to possess,namely: 1) use of tools and equipment; 2) maintaining tools, drawing instruments, equipment, and paraphernalia; 3) performing mensuration and calculation; 4) interpreting technical drawing and plans; and 5) practicing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures.
Food processing involves food handling, packaging, and operating common food processing equipment. This course will let students know how to practice food safety and sanitation prior of packaging processed or finished food products. likewise, implementing good manufacturing procedure is also taught along with mathematical procedures as well.
BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION(BPP); FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICING(FBS);COOKERY
Bread and Pastry Production is designed for high school student to develop knowledge, skills, and attitude to perform the tasks on Bread and Pastry Production. It covers core competencies namely: 1) prepare and produce bakery products; 2) prepare and produce pastry products; 3)prepare and present gateau, tortes and cakes; 4) prepare and display petit fours and 5) present deserts. Food and Beverage Servicing on the other hand is designed for a high school student to develop knowledge, skills, and attitude to perform the tasks required.It covers the core competencies of (1) prepare dining room/restaurant area for service; (2) welcome guests and take food and beverage orders; (3) promote food and beverage products; (4) provide food and beverage services to guest; (5) provide room service; and (6) receive and handle guest concerns. The preliminaries of this specialization course include the following: (1) core concepts in food and beverage services, (2) the relevance of the course, and (3) exploration of career opportunities as a Food Attendant or Chef de rang.
