GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT

Gender and Development (GAD) is a program of the Development of Education which focuses on analyzing the roles and responsibilities that ar socially assigned to women and men, the social relations and interactions between women and men, and the opportunities offered to one and the other.

The purpose of GAD is to ensure that men and women can participate in, and benefit from, development in a way that is equitable.
