DepEd Child Protection Policy

DepED Child Protection Policy. The policy aims to protect the child from all forms of violence that may be inflicted by adults, persons in authority as well as their fellow students, including bullying.

SCHOOL CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

1. Organization of Child Protection Committee in the school

2. Integration of values in the different subject areas in all lessons

3. Implementation of school activities that raise awareness in children’s rights, corporal punishment and positive discipline wherein all teachers, parents, pupils are involved

4. Maintaining a school conducive to learning

5. Establishing a child-friendly classroom/school

6. Strict implementation of No Bullying Policy

7. Conduct Parenting Orientation sessions with parents, barangay officials and other stakeholders

8. Prohibition of inflicting corporal punishment on any child for the purpose of discipline

9. Active involvement of parents in all activities of the school that raise awareness of positive discipline

10. Orientation of visitors and guests on Child Protection Policy

11. Protection of every child from all forms of abuse and bullying to develop self-esteem

12. Respect of the rights of all pupils

We, the undersigned members of the Child Protection Committee agree to implement strictly the above-stated rules and regulations governing the School Child Protection Policy.
