According to the information directly from the most reliable source, C. Marzan Elementary School was a primary school established in 1978 and became a complete elementary school in 1996.
It is located at Marzan, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan and situated in a lot of 1,107 square meter donated by Mr. & Mrs. Alfredo V. Cacacho. It is almost 1.5 km north of Maharlika Highway and 2 km away from the district office.
The school started as a three-room building and it is well maintained and improved from time to time. With the aid from the PTA, barangay, municipal, provincial, national and other stakeholders, it is now equipped with 7 existing instructional rooms, 1 computer room and a canteen for EPP class instruction and feeding for the school populace especially the nutritionally below normal pupils.
After a decade of operations, the school starts to bloom and reaping great achievements though small in terms of populace. Its pioneer graduates were already successful in their fields of chosen endeavor and so with succeeding alumni.
Today, C. Marzan Elementary School is not logged behind. It is one of the performing schools in the Division of Cagayan competing up to the regional levels with its 9 strong, hardworking, efficient and dedicated teachers. It is headed by a Principal 2 with 8 classroom teachers, one as Master Teacher 1, five Teacher 3, one Teacher 2 and one Teacher 1
With todays adversities in the new range of the K-12 Curriculum and the new normal, the C. Marzan Elementary School remain steadfast in delivering quality education amidst turmoil and crisis by utilizing the meager resources for the benefit of the learners adhering to the ultimate goals of the department, to improve the learning outcome for the 21st century education.
