Child Protection Committee Report

INTRODUCTION

The Capissayan Norte Elementary School adhere to the call of the system re: CHILD PROTECTION POLICY PROGRAM since it was implemented by the Department of Education, the School Head as the Chairman, Co-chairman, has been designated by the School Head, the SPGO (Supreme Pupil Government Organization) Adviser, members are the following: Barangay Captain, SPGO President and a Parent Representative.

BODY

Child Protection was created to protect from any form of abuse every pupil in school, free from bullying, verbal abuse and harassment and other sort of maltreatment. Encourage every child to get involve in all school affairs and for them to feel the essence of belongingness in school community.

The committee acts as grievance committee in case there are reported abuses in school with their peers and other pupils.

For the school year, 2020-2021, since face to face is strictly prohibited in the New Normal trend of education, there's no such problems encountered, however, the Committee still exists despite of the COVID VIRUS globally.

Misunderstanding among school children is unavoidable leading them to the extent that they hit each other physically, again the committee bats in to pacify the problem encountered, know the root cause of the problem, members of the committee let concerned pupils offer peace with each other and let them promise not to do commit the same violent reaction among others.

The Child Protection Policy is very in giving discipline to minors as they grow older, good attributes will be inculcated to the minds of pupils who were given attention by the members of the Child Protection Policy.

In like manner it gives also a reminder to teaches not to inflict any form of punishment or any kind of abuse to minors.

CONCLUSIONS

Members of the Child Protection Policy are committed to the task assigned to them by the authority and always discharged duties and responsibilities with utmost responsibilities.
