In line with the Project Matthew (Maintaining an Attractive Town Through Household Educational Management), schools within the Municipality are encouraged to join for the Search for Cleanest and Greenest School, Elementary and Secondary Level.

School Heads tapped the internal and external stakeholders to help in the preparation of the said contested event. Teachers assisted volunteer-parents in their assigned respective area of responsibility to prepare, clean and maintain before the evaluation.

Sacrifices and volunteers of teaching staff turned into joy and excitement when the Capissayan Norte Elementary School adjudged as the First Place in the Search for Cleanest and Greenest School (Elementary Category), awarded Certificate of Recognition on the 18th day of March 2020 at the Municipal Gymnasium, Centro Sur, Gattaran, Cagayan.
