HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
Capissayan Annex started its operation on July 1964 with a double grade of single class particularly grades I and II under the able leadership of Mrs. Donata Abadilla, and Mrs. Apolonia D. Mangusad, the donor of the lot. The succeeding school years until 1972 CNES existed as a complete primary school whereby another teacher was added through the initiative of the barangay captain Juan Almazan. As its population grew, it became a combination class per grade, manned by Mrs. Carmelita Abad Domingo, the first school administrator appointed in the school. In 1972-1973 as Teacher In-Charge. Grade V was opened and in 1973-1974, the Capissayan Norte Primary School became complete Elementary School it was then managed by a Teacher In-Charge, Mr. Pablo A. Agngarayngay.
As the population increased, the Department of Education, Division of Cagayan, assigned a Head Teacher 3 to manage the school in the person of Mrs. Beatriz L. Batacan, from Nabaccayan, Gattaran, Cagayan, succeeded by Mr. Wilfredo T. Juan, also from Nabaccayan was installed as Head Teacher 3 of CNES from school year 1992-1996.
A full-fledge school administrator from Calaoagan Dackel was appointed as Principal 1 who reigned from 1996-2000, in the person of Mrs. Celsa J. Berbano, succeeding school year, another female administrator acted as Principal 1, Mrs. Violeta C. Vicente, of Barbarit ,Gattaran, Cagayan, school year 2000-2005.
A male administrator from Barbarit, young but coupled with commitment, took over as Principal 11 of CNES from school year 2005-2012, Mr. Rogelio C. Lazaro Jr. , who reigned the most number of years in CNES being its Principal.
School Year 2012, 9th day of January specifically, another male administrator , who rose from classroom teacher to Master Teacher 11, service-oriented person, from Baraccaoit, Gattaran, Cagayan, took over as Principal 11 who lasted his services until June 14, 2013.
In the exigencies of service, the Master Teacher 2 of the school, Mrs. Engeline Garo-Roque was given authority to act as Officer In-Charge of the school ,who did her best as a classroom teacher and acted as mediator to problems encountered in the learning institution.
At present, a female administrator, simple but armed with dedication and commitment to her services in school and community, who also rose from the rank as classroom teacher, master teacher until she finally passed the rigid qualifying examination for Principal, she served as Principal 1 in San Carlos Elementary School, Cumao Elementary School and finally, as Principal 11 of Capissayan Norte Elementary School, working harmoniously with the teaching staff and the stakeholders, Dr. Charito G. Fuggan, who was formally installed into office last August 2014, still actively committed in service despite of the globally phenomena, the pandemic.
